Job description

On Point Construction is seeking a Vice President of Construction. Viable candidates should have at least 5 years of management experience in the commercial construction industry.  This position is responsible for the oversight of all construction operations and will be client facing. The VP of Construction reports directly to the President of the company and oversees all Project Managers, Project Coordinators, The Quality Control Manager, and the Field Operations Manager.   This position will oversee all On Point projects throughout Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, and surrounding states.  Some occasional travel is required, but would be limited to approximately 5-10% of the time. 


The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in commercial construction project management and have expert knowledge and experience in all phases of ground up construction.  This includes estimating, pre-construction coordination, construction contracts, project budgeting, scheduling, critical paths, close out, and warranty. Qualified candidates must have a proficiency or familiarity with Procore and scheduling software. They must possess great interpersonal and communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.  All candidates must be thorough and detail focused.  Additionally, they must have a heart for service and set an example of outstanding customer service to our clients and retailers.  All candidates must be excellent in managing budgets and making financial decisions that serve the best interests of our clients as well as guarding the company's profitability.  The VP of Construction must be a person capable of making wise financial decisions and both understanding and accomplishing the overall financial goals of the organization.

On Point will offer a highly competitive compensation package for top qualified candidates.  Starting Salary range for this position is $150,000-200,000/ annually.  Top candidates may receive offers above this range.  Health, IRA, wellness, life, and disability insurance are provided.  Company vehicle is also provided for business travel.  Annual bonus package connected to the overall profitability of the company will also be negotiated as part of the compensation package.  On Point will offer a relocation incentive as needed.  All employees must complete a 3 month probationary period.
