Vice President of Operations: Electrical Contracting

Vice President of Operations: Electrical Contracting
Palm Beach Gardens, FL • Full-time • On-site

Who We Are

Kasper Electric is a Christ-centered company. Our mission is to honor Jesus Christ by delivering electrical excellence, building strong families, and leaving every connection better than we found it. That's not a plaque on the wall. It's how we run job sites, hold meetings, correct mistakes, and treat inspectors, homeowners, and each other. We measure success not only in megawatts installed, but in strengthened families and transformed lives.

The Opportunity - Vice President of Operations: Electrical Contracting

We're a growing electrical contractor: high-end custom homes, commercial projects from $200K to $10M, and a thriving service division. We're preparing to double. To do it, we're hiring a Vice President of Operations to run everything across our field operations: our Residential division, our Commercial division, Preconstruction, and our Service department.

You will report directly to the CEO with full authority over field operations, including crews, schedules, staffing, and job-level decisions across construction and service.

Your Responsibilities - Vice President of Operations: Electrical Contracting

  • Manage three divisions. Ensure Residential, Commercial, and Service are hitting their numbers, managing labor budgets, schedules, and margins, reviewed biweekly with your Field Leaders and Service Manager.

  • Own the handoff seam. Deliver clean turnovers from estimating to the field on every job; nothing mobilizes without a signed-off buyout.

  • Protect margin. No profit fade from estimate to completion across construction and service; capture change orders and service billables, never give them away.

  • Build the leadership pipeline. Develop Field Leaders, Coaches, and service technicians, and graduate foremen on a defined path. This is the single constraint on our growth, and it will be your legacy.

  • Own safety. Take ultimate ownership of safety across construction and service, executed through your Field Leaders, Coaches, and Service Manager.

  • Set the standards. Establish the operating procedures, reporting rhythms, and dashboards construction and service run on.

  • Grow the service department. Bring the same discipline and scorecard rigor to service that construction runs on, positioning it as a durable, recurring-revenue growth engine.

What Success Looks Like

Your performance will be measured on a real scorecard, reviewed with the CEO, evaluating gross profit by division (including Service), GP fade, labor hours vs. percent complete, schedule adherence, backlog, turnover completeness, service response times and callback rates, leaders developed per year, and recordables. If a scorecard makes you nervous, this role may not be the right fit. If it motivates you, welcome home.

Experience Required - Vice President of Operations: Electrical Contracting

  • 10+ years in construction operations, with significant electrical or MEP trade experience; multi-project or multi-division leadership required.

  • A builder of people first. You can point to foremen, supers, or PMs who lead today because you developed them.

  • Fluent in the numbers: WIP, labor productivity, buyouts, change orders, margin. You read a job cost report the way most people read a menu.

  • A servant leader with a spine. Humble enough to serve a crew, strong enough to stop a job that's going sideways.

  • Someone who exhibits high character and integrity.

Our Values: the LET'S GO Standard

Love: we serve people the way Jesus Christ served us.
Excellence: our work is our worship; integrity in every detail.
Trust: we do what we said, when we said.
Stewardship: everything we manage belongs to God.
Growth: we multiply what's entrusted to us.
Ownership: no blame, no excuses, full responsibility.

What We Offer

A family-first culture that protects you from burnout instead of causing it, supported by a voluntary chaplaincy program, and the chance to build something that outlives you.

Salary & Benefits - Vice President of Operations: Electrical Contracting

  • Salary range: $185,000 to $210,000, plus performance incentives tied to your scorecard.

  • 401(k) with 4% company match.

  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.

  • Paid time off.

  • Paid holidays.

Kasper Electric is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
