Job description

The Vice President of Clinical Operations and Patient Care Services is a registered nurse responsible for the organization's nursing and clinical support services. This position provides leadership and support to the clinical operations of Baltimore Medical System's health delivery centers. In addition, the Vice President of Clinical Operations Patient Care Services oversees the organization's occupational health, care management, and infection control programs.

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Vice President, Clinical Operations and Patient Care Services, ensures the organization implements and monitors policies/processes that align with evidence-based guidelines, Patient-Centered Medical Home models of care, and Joint Commission standards. The Vice President ensures the health centers' systems improve patient safety, patient access, and the patient experience. In addition, the Vice President develops clinical competency standards, training and assessment for all nursing and support staff at Baltimore Medical System.
