Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO, responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operational activities across the organization. This role manages operational processes, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient production, delivery, and customer satisfaction. The Vice President Operations will develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and monitor performance metrics to support sustainable growth. This position also collaborates closely with executive leadership on budgeting, risk management, and long-term planning, while mentoring and guiding operational teams to achieve high performance and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and resource planning.
  • Proficiency in P&L Management and financial oversight to support organizational growth.
  • Experience in Strategic Planning, setting operational goals, and aligning with business objectives.
  • Proven Project Management capabilities, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Customer Service orientation, ensuring high-quality support and satisfaction for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in scientific instruments, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech industries is beneficial.
