Job description

Job Summary

This role is responsible for the overall operational performance and P&L of the market, supporting the Regional President in managing health plan and client relationships. Executes market operational strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals. Translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation and measurable outcomes.  It involves close collaboration with recruiters on hiring and onboarding efforts, and with the Learning & Development team to ensure effective onboarding and in-market training for APPs. During the ramp-up of a new market, the role will oversee market readiness activities such as recruiting, onboarding key staff, managing clinical operations, and supply logistics to accelerate engagement. In existing markets, the role manages Community Operations Directors and CES Supervisors, with oversight of enabling functions that support market operations. It also involves coordination with shared services on internal or external audits as needed.

Job Description
  • Responsible for operational performance of the market.
  • Supports Regional President with health plan or client relationships for the market.
  • Work with Recruiters for Recruitment and Hiring.
  • Onboarding and In Market Training-Works closely with the Regional Vice President, Market CMD, and Training & Development Team to onboard APPs and CODs.
  • For a new market or client, this role would oversee market readiness activities including but not limited to recruiting and onboarding of key staff, clinical operations, and supply management.
  • Manage activities to accelerate engagement of patients.
  • Existing market support.
  • Direct manager of respective Community Operations Directors and CES Supervisors and oversight of PCO enabling functions that support their market.
  • P&L responsibility for the market-analyzes data, identifies trends, and implements corrective actions to improve operational outcomes.
  • Holds direct reports and overall market accountable for achieving performance goals.
  • As needed, collaborates with central shared services on any internal or external audits related to the market
Job Requirements

Education:

Nurse Practitioner: Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner program (Required Must have or be  eligible for appropriate APP licensure. For Physician Assistant: Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) (Required Must have or be eligible for appropriate PA certification. PA must have Master's degree in healthcare discipline. 

For non-clinical individuals: Master's Degree Preferred (i.e. MBA, MSHA).  Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent experience within similar business models can be considered.

 

Experience: 5+ years successful supervisory or management experience (Required). 10+ years' experience in a health care organization.  

Skills: Full risk knowledge or value-based medicine experience; Previous experience in home care, hospice, palliative care, population health, or geriatrics strongly preferred, other complex patient health care experience also beneficial; Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel (e.g. graphs, pivot tables, etc.), Word, PowerPoint, G Suite; Demonstrated experience and comfort level with presentation skills.; Demonstrated understanding of the theories of constraint and six-sigma processes, program management and ability to work with stakeholders within and outside organization to resolve areas of concern; Must be able to analyze data, determine trends, formulate action plans, and execute plans as needed.

-Ability to stand/sit for extended periods.  

- Visual acuity and fine motor skills.  

- Ability to travel to locations as needed.

Travel: Up to 40% locally or nationally

Work Environment: Hybrid

Compensation:

$178,000 - $250,000

Bonus:  25%
