The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President, Client Service Professional (CSP), to join our Delaware Funds Fiduciary team. This client-facing role is responsible for the fiduciary oversight and administration of a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds. As an independent contributor, you will work closely with clients, service providers, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service while ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Serve as Director on a diverse set of alternative investment fund structures, including private equity funds, hedge funds, and other related structures.
  • Fulfill fiduciary responsibilities in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and governance requirements, including the review of key fund documentation and transaction materials.
  • Lead and coordinate client onboarding and acceptance processes, including drafting proposals and deal closings.
  • Manage the financial statement review process for a portfolio of alternative investment funds, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory, governance, and reporting requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of U.S. and foreign tax-related documentation to ensure compliance with applicable filing obligations and deadlines.
  • Participate in board meetings, conference calls, and other client-facing engagements.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while ensuring all client relationships are administered in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of client and transaction records by ensuring information within internal systems and databases is accurate, complete, and current.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight to junior team members, supporting their professional development and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Represent the Maples Group at industry events, professional associations, and client-facing forums, as required.

What You Bring
This role requires a highly motivated and commercially minded professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex client relationships, regulatory obligations, and competing priorities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a strong academic record.
  • Minimum of eight to ten years of relevant experience within the financial services industry, with significant exposure to institutional investors and alternative investment structures.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investment funds, fund structures, and investment strategies across multiple asset classes.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing transaction documentation, with a thorough understanding of corporate governance principles, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of financial statements and financial reporting concepts; experience reviewing financial statements is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with legal counsel, investment managers, institutional investors, fund administrators, and other transaction parties across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
