Position Summary
The Vice President (VP) of Imaging Services provides executive leadership for the strategic direction, operational performance, financial stewardship, and continuous improvement of the health system's imaging services. In partnership with the Radiology Division Chief, this leader advances clinical excellence, quality, patient safety, access, innovation, and workforce engagement while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational goals. The VP of Imaging Services reports directly to senior executive operations leadership.
Position Duties
- Strategic Planning
a. Develop and execute the strategic vision for Imaging Services aligned with organizational priorities.
b. Partner with the Radiology Division Chief and executive leaders to advance service growth, quality, and innovation.
c. Identify opportunities to improve access, operational performance, and patient experience. - Operational Excellence
a. Provide enterprise oversight of imaging operations across all sites.
b. Standardize workflows and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
c. Monitor key performance metrics and drive accountability. - Clinical Quality & Safety
a. Partner with physician leadership to establish evidence-based practices.
b. Promote quality, patient safety, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance. - Technology & Innovation
