Job Description

The Senior Vice President, AI Engineering is a senior technical leader for the MRCL platform at Publicis Groupe, working collaboratively alongside other senior engineering and technology leaders to drive engineering excellence across the platform. This role plays a key part in shaping infrastructure decisions, platform hardening, and technical standards - while also partnering with go-to-market and growth teams to support engineering-led sales efforts. The SVP ensures that global MCPs (Model Context Protocol integrations) are properly integrated and maintained across the platform, serving as a critical bridge between technical execution and commercial growth.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineering and technology leadership to shape MRCL's infrastructure and platform architecture strategy, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability at enterprise scale
  • Lead the strategic adoption and operationalization of AI technologies across the MRCL platform, including LLM-powered applications, agentic workflows, and AI services, ensuring scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade deployment.
  • Establish governance and best practices for AI systems, including model lifecycle management, observability, evaluation frameworks, responsible AI standards, and integration with enterprise data and security controls.
  • Drive platform hardening initiatives including security posture improvements, system resilience planning, and compliance with Publicis Groupe's data governance requirements
  • Oversee the proper integration of global MCPs across the MRCL platform, ensuring consistent performance, governance, and alignment with platform standards
  • Partner with go-to-market and growth teams to support engineering sales efforts - translating platform capabilities into compelling technical narratives for clients and prospects
  • Contribute to infrastructure decisions across cloud architecture, API design, and system integration, balancing speed of innovation with operational stability
  • Build and mentor engineering talent, establishing strong ways of working, code review standards, and a culture of engineering excellence
  • Represent engineering in cross-functional executive conversations, articulating technical trade-offs and their business implications with clarity
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Engineering.
  • Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform architecture, and enterprise-grade system design
  • Strong working knowledge of API frameworks, MCP integrations, and distributed systems
  • Proven ability to collaborate and lead through influence across senior, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for commercial and executive audiences
  • Experience supporting engineering-led sales or go-to-market functions, including client-facing technical storytelling
  • Strong grasp of security, compliance, and data governance best practices at scale

 Compensation Range: USD $180,215.00 - USD $299,637.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
