The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and mentoring a high-performing team of loan officers. This role requires a strategic leader with deep industry knowledge, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in mortgage sales and business development. The VP of Sales will play a key role in scaling Direct Rate’s mortgage operations while ensuring an outstanding experience for both clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Talent Development:

• Identify, recruit, and onboard top-performing loan officers to expand Direct Rate’s market presence.

• Implement training programs and professional development initiatives to ensure loan officers meet and exceed sales goals.

• Foster a high-performance sales culture through coaching, mentorship, and motivation.

• Sales Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive loan origination growth and maximize revenue.

• Set clear performance targets and monitor key metrics to ensure loan officers meet production goals.

• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize lead generation and conversion rates.

• Business Development & Market Expansion:

• Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, brokers, and referral partners to generate new business opportunities.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to position Direct Rate for continued success.

• Represent Direct Rate at networking events, industry conferences, and community engagements.

• Operational Excellence & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage high-performing loan officers.

• Strong understanding of mortgage products, guidelines, and industry regulations.
