Assistant Vice President – Financial Operations

Join our growing MGA client! We’re seeking a motivated professional as a Assistant Vice President – Financial Operations with precision and speed!

What You'll Do:

Partner with the CFO to drive financial strategy and operational performance.

Lead operational finance initiatives across Accounting, Operations, Underwriting, Sales, and Customer Service.

Oversee the Accounts Payable team, vendor payments, and internal controls.

Analyze financial performance, KPIs, and operational trends to improve profitability and efficiency.

Develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, and executive reporting.

Lead process improvements, automation, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Strengthen financial controls, support audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Experience in operational finance within a wholesale insurance, MGA, wholesale brokerage, or P&C insurance environment.

Strong knowledge of insurance accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and process improvement initiatives.

Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and KPI reporting skills.

Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with premium accounting, business intelligence tools, and operational reporting is a plus.
