As a Vice President, you will work with a wide range of clients, including corporate, association, nonprofit and issue advocacy, and support the work of the firm to create deliverables that are creative, strong, and will help meet clients' goal.
Responsibilities
A Vice President, Digital and Social Media Strategy's job responsibilities include:
  • Serve as a digital, social media, strategy and analytics voice across accounts, working in concert with corporate communication teams through their own outstanding client relationship skills
  • As digital ambassador, explain the intricacies of organic digital communications, analytics and social media to those who are not fully familiar with organic digital communications
  • Help clients better tell their stories and drive engagement with key audiences across digital channels
  • Work seamlessly with different account teams, simultaneously managing various client programs, developing high quality, client-ready materials, providing actionable client counsel, and problem solving
  • Proactively provide account teams with regular project status updates to ensure awareness and demonstrate progress toward meeting deadlines and KPIs
  • Be an expert at working with creators and influencers at a variety of levels and creative in their incorporation into overall strategies
  • Be the voice for organic digital strategy and analytics on integrated retainer and project engagements while ensuring coordination with media relations and other earned media efforts
  • Develop and execute high-quality digital and social media deliverables including analytics & listening reports, content strategies/calendars, social media posts and other digital communications materials
  • Be client-facing and comfortable communicating directly with clients

Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
  • 5+ years working in organic digital communications and specifically in digital media, including social media, SEO and long-form channels
  • Expertise in digital analytics, including Web Analytics, SEO and Social Media Analytics
  • Experience working with PR and media relations professionals and/or teams and a basic understanding of media relations, traditional communications, etc.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress or Squarespace is a plus.
  • Experience leading a digital-first creative process. Having led a dedicated creative team is a plus.
  • Business development potential is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related

Benefits
SKDK is committed to pay equity. SKDK believes the target base compensation in this role is between $115,000-$120,000. In addition to base salary, SKDK considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual base compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and location.
