A Day in the Life of a Sales Vice President

A Day in the Life of a Vice President of Sales at First Onsite is dynamic, strategic, and results-focused. In this senior leadership role, you will shape and execute the company's sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue goals while leading a high-performing sales team. You'll provide guidance, coaching, and support to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence, ensuring your team consistently succeeds.

Your responsibilities include developing comprehensive sales plans, identifying market opportunities, and crafting strategies to drive sustainable growth. You'll build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, expand into new markets, and continuously refine strategies through analysis of market trends, performance metrics, and competitive insights. Leveraging strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, you'll partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to set the vision, inspire the organization, and position First Onsite as an industry leader while delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences with a strong client-focused approach
  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new business, expanding existing accounts, and executing strategic sales plans
  • Build and maintain influential relationships across the industry, community partners, and prospective clients
  • Collaborate with National/Regional Sales, Operations, and RFP teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
  • Utilize Salesforce as the primary sales tool to manage opportunities and track performance
  • Participate in collections, recruiting, hiring, and team development while investing in personal growth
  • Travel 20-50% as needed, including disaster sites with extended stays
  • Valid driver's license required

Experience & Education:

  • Proven success driving new business and building strategic partnerships
  • Consistently meets or exceeds revenue goals through analytical, trust-based sales approaches
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
