Job description

Our client is a premier luxury packaging manufacturer and seeking an experienced Vice President, Design & Production Planning to lead a team of approximately 35 professionals and oversee the design-to-production process. This executive will align design, engineering, estimating, procurement, planning, sales, and manufacturing to deliver innovative, cost-effective, production-ready packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop design and production planning teams
  • Optimize workflows, processes, KPIs, and project execution
  • Ensure packaging concepts are manufacturing-ready, cost-effective, and delivered on schedule.
  • Partner with sales, customers, engineering, estimating, procurement, and manufacturing.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Build strong customer relationships and participate in key client presentations
  • Provide strategic leadership and recommendations to the CEO and ownership
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of leadership experience specifically within folding cartons or packaging
  • Strong knowledge of folding carton design, materials, printing, converting, and manufacturing
  • Proven success leading teams and improving operational performance
  • Experience managing the design-to-production process and cross-functional teamsStrong customer-facing, communication, and business skills
