Job description

Market Vice Presidents at LandCare provide strategic leadership and oversight for multiple branches within a designated market. They are responsible for driving operational excellence, business growth, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. As a senior leader, the Market Vice President sets the vision for the market, develops high-performing teams, and ensures alignment with LandCare’s core values and long-term objectives.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a market-wide strategy that supports company growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Branch Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure alignment with LandCare’s corporate vision, values, and financial goals across all branches in the market.
  • Promote a high-performing culture by developing leadership talent and succession plans.
Operational Excellence & Business Performance
  • Oversee the financial performance of multiple branches, ensuring strong P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Set key performance targets for branches and provide guidance to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Partner with Branch Managers to ensure accurate job estimating, resource allocation, and execution of high-quality landscaping services.
  • Champion safety initiatives and drive adherence to LandCare’s safety standards across all locations.
Client & Market Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Guide Branch Managers and sales teams in identifying growth opportunities, developing new business, and expanding service offerings.
  • Represent LandCare in key networking events, industry conferences, and market development initiatives.
  • Leverage data and market insights to identify trends and opportunities for strategic expansion.
Talent Development & Culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Branch Managers, ensuring they have the tools and support to drive success in their respective locations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and customer-centric service across the market.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top industry talent.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to support a positive and inclusive work environment.
Growth & Expansion
  • Work closely with executive leadership to assess market expansion opportunities, mergers/acquisitions, and competitive positioning.
  • Spearhead initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and streamline processes across multiple branches.
  • Act as a thought leader in the industry, representing LandCare in professional associations and strategic business development efforts.
