Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Drive strategic transformation of cyber insurance portfolios, focusing on innovative risk assessment and market penetration in key regional segments.
  • Portfolio Management: Architect comprehensive performance frameworks for cyber underwriting, implementing advanced risk modeling and precision-driven financial governance.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of underwriters, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and industry partners to expand market presence and identify new business opportunities.
  • Risk Assessment: Provide guidance on complex cyber risks, emerging threats, and evolving regulatory requirements to ensure sound underwriting decisions.
  • Innovation & Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to enhance cyber insurance offerings and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure underwriting practices comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics and market intelligence to inform underwriting decisions and regional strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with claims, actuarial, and risk management teams to optimize portfolio performance and client outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional designation (e.g., CPCU, RPLU) preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated track record of progressive leadership spanning 10+ years, with deep specialization in complex cyber risk ecosystems and strategic portfolio management.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cyber risk, insurance products, and underwriting principles.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen with experience in regional strategy development and execution.
  • Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to build and maintain broker and client relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics for decision-making and portfolio optimization.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to senior executives and external stakeholders.
