Job description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The VP, Corporate Finance is a senior finance leader responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic decision support to executive management, by owning the company's operating and financial planning cadence, including forecasting, annual planning, long-range modeling, and KPI management in a public company environment and ensuring executives and the Board receive timely, accurate, and actionable insights that enable clear, informed decision-making. This role oversees Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, Operational Finance, and Sales Finance, and serves as a central integrator across the business, partnering closely with the SVP and EVP Finance & Accounting, CFO, and executive leadership to support earnings readiness, Board and investor materials, external financial messaging, and the company's long-term strategic objectives.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a leader who can operate at a high altitude while remaining deeply engaged in day-to-day execution. The VP, Corporate Finance is expected to actively engage in complex analyses, lead critical workstreams, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing, bringing strong investment banking or equivalent strategic finance experience, a "figure-it-out" mindset, and the ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-intensity setting.

A core mandate of the role is to strengthen execution, scalability, and rigor across the finance organization by continuously challenging processes, identifying risks and bottlenecks, and leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve speed, accuracy, and insight quality. This leader continues to build and develop a high-performing finance team, establishes clear operating rhythms and accountability, and fosters a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high standards.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • Own company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and long-range modeling, including quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year outlooks

  • Lead development of financial materials for executive leadership, including Board presentations, earnings-related analysis, investor messaging, and ad hoc strategic reviews

  • Partner closely with the CFO, SVP, and EVP of Finance & Accounting to support external financial communications and key stakeholder narratives

  • Oversee strategic finance initiatives such as product economics, pricing analysis, partnership and M&A evaluations, investment decision support, and valuation modeling

  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights

  • Lead Sales Finance in partnership with Sales, Revenue Operations, and HR to support revenue forecasting, performance analysis, incentive compensation modeling, and strategic sales initiatives

  • Oversee Operational Finance to ensure strong KPI reporting, trend analysis, and a clear connection between operational performance and financial outcomes

  • Drive disciplined execution across multiple workstreams, establishing clear processes, milestones, and communication cadences while proactively managing risks and dependencies

  • Continuously improve finance workflows by identifying inefficiencies and championing automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance organization, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration

GREAT TO HAVE
  • Investment banking or equivalent strategic finance background
  • Experience operating in a publicly traded, high-growth environment
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiencies and process improvements in complex, fast-moving environments
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-intensity, rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence
  • Highly organized, process-oriented, and an effective project manager
  • Demonstrated success managing, motivating, and developing teams
