Job description

Avionics Installer / Future Manager

Company Overview:

AirMart, Inc. is a nationally recognized aircraft sales and brokerage company with over 55 years of aviation

excellence. We're expanding our avionics capabilities and seeking an experienced Avionics Installer ready to

take ownership of complex Garmin installations and grow into an Avionics Manager role.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and execute full-scope avionics installations for piston, turboprop, and light jet aircraft.
  • Specialize in Garmin systems (GTN, GFC 500/600, G3X, TXi, etc.).
  • Handle projects from planning through installation, testing, and FAA compliance.
  • Troubleshoot complex avionics and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks, documentation, and quality records.
  • Mentor junior technicians and streamline shop efficiency.
  • Advance toward a management role overseeing projects, team performance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in general aviation avionics installation.
  • Deep familiarity with Garmin avionics systems and integration.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, STCs, and FAA documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and project leadership skills.
  • A&P license or avionics certification preferred.
