Vice President of Atlas Building Services
SUMMARY:
The VP of Atlas Building Services is responsible for the operational and financial performance of RXR's building services platform, overseeing a ~$20M+ revenue business line across a multi-asset commercial portfolio.
This role reports to the SVP, Chief of Staff - Office, and operates as the business accountability owner, with direct accountability for P&L performance across all buildings and the overall platform. The VP will lead all facets of the business including operations, sales, finance coordination, HR partnership, and marketing alignment, ensuring disciplined execution, financial transparency, and consistent service delivery.
This individual will bring deep expertise in commercial cleaning and facilities services and will establish the structure, reporting, and accountability required to drive revenue growth, improve margins, and elevate customer experience across the portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
P&L Ownership, Financial Management & Business Planning
  • Own full P&L responsibility for Atlas Building Services, including building-level performance and consolidated business results
  • Oversee annual budgets for each asset and the overall business line; lead periodic reforecasting based on performance trends
  • Perform ongoing P&L tracking to budget, including detailed variance analysis with clear identification of drivers and corrective actions
  • Lead business planning efforts, including revenue forecasting, cost planning, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Identify risks and opportunities and proactively implement strategies to improve financial performance

Operations Management
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations across the portfolio, ensuring efficient, consistent, and high-quality service delivery
  • Manage Atlas direct employees across operations, ensuring productivity, accountability, and alignment with business objectives
  • Establish standardized operating procedures, KPIs, and reporting structures
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, service failures, and client concerns

Labor Oversight & Workforce Management
  • Lead labor strategy including staffing models, workforce planning, and productivity standards
  • Partner with HR on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions
  • Monitor and control replacement labor usage and overall labor spend
  • Continuously evaluate team structure to optimize performance and efficiency

Revenue Growth, Sales Oversight & Accountability
  • Own and drive revenue growth strategy across contractual services, upselling, and one-time revenue opportunities
  • Hold the sales team accountable to pipeline development, conversion targets, and revenue goals
  • Establish clear sales performance metrics and reporting cadence
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities across tenants not currently utilizing services

Upselling & New Product / Service Development
  • Lead the identification and rollout of new service offerings to expand revenue streams
  • Drive upselling initiatives across existing clients, including enhanced services, increased service frequency, and specialty offerings
  • Partner with marketing to support go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and tenant engagement efforts

Customer Experience & Service Quality
  • Maintain oversight of tenant satisfaction and overall service quality across the portfolio
  • Act as a senior point of contact for key tenant relationships and escalated service issues
  • Implement processes to measure and improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Partner with Property Management to ensure alignment with tenant expectations and lease structures

Supply Chain & Cost Control
  • Oversee procurement of supplies and vendor management across the business
  • Implement controls to ensure consistency, cost efficiency, and margin improvement
  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives across materials and services

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Lead and coordinate across operations, sales, finance, HR, and marketing functions supporting the business
  • Establish clear accountability, roles, and performance expectations
  • Drive a culture of ownership, execution, and continuous improvement

Reporting & Executive Communication
  • Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to executive leadership
  • Present insights on financial performance, sales activity, operational trends, and key risks
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and strategic direction

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or related facilities services industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing a multi-site service business with full P&L ownership
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and margin improvement
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and administrative functions

SKILLS:
  • Strong operational leadership with hands-on experience in service delivery environments
  • Advanced financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and variance analysis
  • Deep understanding of labor management, staffing models, and cost control strategies
  • Ability to hold teams accountable and drive measurable performance outcomes
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to present to senior leadership
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary/rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g. location, years of service, specialty, education, relevant experience).
Bonus eligible.
Pay Range
$200,000-$250,000 USD
