Position Overview

Vibrant Health Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time position, focused on delivering high-quality, individualized mental health care, will allow you to make a tangible impact in the lives of our clients. You will work remotely, with the opportunity to also engage with clients in our welcoming outpatient office located in Fresno, California.

Work Environment

As a member of our organization, you will immerse yourself in a collaborative and comfortable work setting. Your role will primarily involve conducting therapy sessions from the privacy of your home, with occasional opportunities to meet clients at our inviting outpatient office. This hybrid model not only promotes flexibility but also ensures that our therapists can provide services in a manner that is conducive to client comfort and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain insights into each client's unique mental health needs, followed by the formulation of effective and personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy tailored to the specific goals and needs of clients, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, and continuously monitor and evaluate their progress throughout the treatment journey.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual access or face challenges attending in person, ensuring they receive essential support regardless of their circumstances.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of sessions and treatment interventions to comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development, including workshops, training sessions, and peer consultations, to enhance your clinical expertise and stay current with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals grappling with a spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. By fostering a trusting and empathetic therapeutic relationship, you will guide clients in overcoming their difficulties, equipping them with coping strategies and tools necessary for achieving emotional resilience and well-being.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of a safe, supportive, and trusting therapeutic environment for clients.
• A strong sense of empathy, professionalism, and a non-judgmental approach that aligns with our values and commitment to client care.
• Efficient time management and organizational skills necessary for managing caseloads effectively while adhering to administrative processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a counseling setting, particularly in private practice or community mental health, will be valued.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and approaches.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate effective documentation and report management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, proportionate to your experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
