CCTV Virtual Security Guard - Remote (Puerto Rico)

Reliant Safety, a subsidiary of Paths Management Services, LLC. Reliant Safety was founded in 2009 to provide comprehensive property security and management solutions for the affordable housing market nationwide. Reliant Safety currently maintains and monitors over 30,000 cameras across ten states, which support approximately 45,000 residential units.

The Remote CCTV Virtual Guard (“VG”), based in Puerto Rico, will be responsible for monitoring over 30,000 surveillance cameras in the NY metro and Boston area for any illegal and unusual activities. It will be the VG’s responsibility to correspond with on-site security staff to inform them of suspicious activities. Reporting directly to the Security Operations Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Basic computer network knowledge with regards to IPs and subnets
  • Able to configure and administer user privileges for CCTV accounts
  • Knowledge of TeamViewer functions and remote access
  • Constant monitoring of all surveillance cameras between the hours of 9:00 pm to 6:00am, work days: Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday and Monday off days.
  • Direct contact with site security, company security and NYPD to report findings;
  • Apprised of all company policies and will be able to determine when a tenant is breaking these policies;
  • Maintain good working relationships with all site security staff, company security and conduct himself with professionalism toward all PD personnel;
  • Virtual Guard will be the eyes for the entire security department to keep all our tenants safe;
  • Maintain all company property and supplies, including but not limited to tools.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Must be a resident of Puerto Rico
  • Must have knowledge of the above computer skills or equivalent education
  • Must have previous experience with on-site security and writing reports;
  • Must be diligent, alert, and attentive to details;
  • Must have good communication skills and exhibit patience when communicating with different audiences;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with regard to navigating the OS;
  • Must have basic computer software skills, including the ability to burn info to DVDs as needed;
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with constant change.
  • College degree preferred

Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn to use new software tools with respect to Network Video Management Systems (NVMS).
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication (English).
  • Team player-ability to work well in a close employee/support environment.
