Job description

Wavelength Strategy is a boutique digital firm dedicated to elevating digital persuasion and paid media strategy for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations.
In 2026, we are partnering with Democratic candidates up and down the ballot - from local elections and advocacy campaigns to definitive House and Senate races. In this role, your work will be on the frontlines of those important fights.
We are seeking: Experienced motion graphics / post-production specialists who can turn out beautiful, ad-length video content on a tight timeline. Applicants should have experience handling every part of the production process, from asset design, to animation, to color correction, to sound design.
This is an election cycle position and will conclude November 2026.
More about you
Must-haves:
  • You live in After Effects but have a strong supporting knowledge of post-production fundamentals (editing, sound editing, color, etc.)
  • You are very comfortable - perhaps even love - designing and working with titles and type
  • You're a proficient designer in addition to your motion expertise, and you have a demonstrated ability to use typography, color, layout and visual hierarchy to communicate ideas quickly and effectively.

Nice-to-haves:
  • Competency with simple 3D animation and/or VFX (cameras, planar tracking, content replacement, rotoscoping.)
  • Proven ability to produce short-form video content packages (30-second, 15-second, 6-second) along rapid timelines for use in advertising
  • History of effective selection and direction of voice actors
  • Familiarity with needs and expectations of Democratic political clients
  • Preference for candidates with additional skills in: audio engineering, color grading, VFX, and/or illustration
