Position Details

• Role: Veterinary Exam Room Assistant / Scribe
• Status: Full-Time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Wednesday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; every other Saturday 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Exam Room Assistant / Scribe to join our team. We are a high-quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and client service in a fun, engaging, and professional environment.

Located in the charming community of Willoughby Hills, Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited small-animal practice offering boarding and grooming services. What You’ll Do

• Support DVMs during appointments and exam room flow
• Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
• Obtain accurate medical histories and patient information
• Enter medical data and maintain clear, accurate patient records
• Educate clients and communicate treatment plans clearly
• Assist with client questions, recommendations, and follow-up care
• Help manage multiple appointments efficiently throughout the day
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable exam room areas
• Support daily hospital workflow and collaborate with doctors and team members
