They provide product information, answer technical questions, and support veterinary professionals in selecting the right products for animal care. Veterinary Reps often travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in animal health products. Their role is crucial in bridging the gap between manufacturers and veterinary professionals to ensure animals receive the best possible care.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a veterinary rep?

To thrive as a Veterinary Representative, you need a solid understanding of animal health products, sales acumen, and often a background in veterinary science or a related field. Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and sometimes certification in animal health or pharmaceutical sales is typically required.
