Job description
The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri Columbia is seeking a full-time Cognitive and Behavioral Neurologist to join our vibrant and growing Neurology practice.
Clinical and some didactic teaching is expected, and the opportunity to precept in resident clinic is available.
Opportunity Details:
- Join the neurology department of 30+ physicians and neuroscientists
- Opportunities to assist in the department's growth, the education of medical students and residents, and pursuit of other academic/research interests.
- Strong collaboration with Health Psychology for psychometric testing
- State of the art imaging capabilities including PET and 7T MRI
- No night call
- Practice Schedule M-F 8 AM-5 PM
- All ranks available commensurate with experience
As the largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri, the department's facilities include:
- A dedicated 28-bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU
- 30-bed Neurosciences ICU
- AANEM Lab Accreditation with Exemplary Status
- NAEC Level IV Epilepsy program
- DNV-Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Certified MDA/ALS clinics
- An accredited Sleep Program
- Outpatient infusion center
