Our state-of-the-art facility is well-equipped with everything you need to provide exceptional care, including 5 exam rooms, an in-house IDEXX lab, surgical suites, dental stations, advanced diagnostics, and more. We offer a wide range of services, including preventative care, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, advanced dentistry, rehabilitation, hospice, nutrition, and pain management. 

At North Bay Animal Hospital, we believe in fostering a supportive team environment that encourages life/work balance. Our culture is built on collaboration and teamwork, where everyone is encouraged to share ideas and contribute to our success. Job Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
  • Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
  • Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols.
  • Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
  • Present a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.
  • Work in a communicative and collaborative fashion that focuses on team success.
  • Ideally two years of experience but open to new graduates.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
