The Faith Babirye Veterinary Surgery & Diagnostics Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant (3+ years experience) to join our growing surgical team.
Whether your passion is surgery, anesthesia, diagnostics, patient care, or continuing to expand your veterinary skills, we welcome motivated team members who are eager to learn and grow. As a surgery-focused hospital offering orthopedic surgery, advanced soft tissue procedures, CT imaging, digital radiography, and fluoroscopy, we provide unique opportunities for hands-on experience and professional development. We value a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent patient care just as much as prior surgical experience.
What You'll Do:
• Assist with orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
• Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture
• Assist with CT scans, radiographs, and fluoroscopy
• Perform laboratory procedures and patient treatments
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Educate clients on post-operative care
