AVSE is a brand new 20,500-square-foot facility that houses ER, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Neurology and we are looking for a second neurologist to join us and support our growing caseload. Together, we will strive to deliver advanced medical treatment to our patients, compassionate and transparent communication to their families, and a collaborative workspace where staff well-being matters. In your day to day, you will:

Balance time between consultations, case workups, and surgical procedures
Perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries using available imaging and surgical equipment
Collaborate with other specialties to support integrated case management
Help shape and grow the surgical service in line with hospital priorities
Work alongside a dedicated surgical nursing and support team
Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners throughout the surgical process

What You Bring

DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure
Board Certification in Surgery (DACVS) or completion of a surgical residency
Strong surgical skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care
Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client centered approach
A collaborative mindset and interest in working closely with emergency, critical care, and other specialty services
A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, teaching, and advancing specialty medicine
