Registered Veterinary Technician- Emergency
$25.00-$40.00/hour (DOE) + $5.50/hour Shift Differential (6:00 PM-6:00 AM)
Full-Time opportunity in Concord, California
Schedule: Thursday-Saturday | Three 12-hour shifts

In Your Day-toDay You Will
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency patients throughout their hospital stay.
  • Triage incoming emergency cases and support clients during urgent and emotionally challenging situations.
  • Partner with veterinarians to perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, aspirates, and other diagnostic specimens.
  • Assist with advanced imaging and patient diagnostics.
  • Induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing anesthesia and sedation.
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate patient updates with the medical team.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative hospital culture.
What You Bring
  • Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency or clinical veterinary experience.
  • Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, drug calculations, and patient handling.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment.
  • Commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional patient care.
