Countryside Veterinary Center is a 10-doctor, same-day appointment practice that also offers boarding, grooming, daycare, and rehab services. We’re looking for Veterinary Technicians who are ready to put their skills to work, learn something new every day, and grow with a supportive and fun-loving team.


Who We’re Looking For

  • Veterinary Technicians with at least 1 year of experience (preferred)
  • Positive, high-energy team players with great communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Self-starters who can stay cool under pressure in a busy hospital setting
  • Animal lovers who want to make a difference—for both pets and their people


Responsibilities & Skills You’ll Use Daily

  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • Digital radiography
  • In-house lab work (Idexx)
  • Dentistry and dental radiography
  • Surgical induction and anesthesia monitoring
  • Medication administration and injections
  • Drug calculations
  • Client communication and education
  • Team collaboration and problem solving
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Education & Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Illinois CVT/LVT license preferred, but not required


Pay Range

The salary range for this position is $17-$27. This range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this role at this time. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
