The PARC is a 24/7 Animal Hospital that does it all: Wellness Care and 24/7 ER/Critical Care. Our 25,000 square foot facility is one of the most unique in the country with glass walls that help calm pets' fears. We care about the People as much as the Pets, including our team members.
As an ER Veterinary Technician, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
What You'll Do
As an ER Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in life - saving care by:
  • Supporting veterinarians during emergency cases
  • Delivering emergency first aid and advanced nursing care to injured or critical patients
  • Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical and post - operative care
  • Preparing patients and instruments for emergency procedures
  • Obtaining and monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure and SpO&sub2;
  • Collecting lab samples (blood, urine, tissue) and performing in - house diagnostics
  • Operating digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Accurately documenting patient histories and medical records
  • Supporting patient flow through admissions, treatment, and discharge
  • Maintaining clean, sterile, and organized treatment, and exam areas
  • Using safe restraint techniques and following hospital protocols
  • Collaborating closely with doctors, technicians, and support teams

What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
  • 2+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience
  • ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials strongly encouraged
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting
  • Strong critical - thinking and problem - solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail in fast - moving situations
  • Comfort working with ICU patients and advanced diagnostics
