Applebrook Inn Veterinary Center & Pet Resort is a full-service hospital and pet resort offering preventive care, dentistry, surgery, daycare, grooming, training, and boardingโ€”all in one place. Our 8-acre property and compassionate team provide pets with exceptional care and comfort.

Weโ€™re looking for a Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role supports our veterinarians with exams, surgeries, and daily treatments while ensuring every patient and client receives outstanding care. Whether youโ€™re a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or have strong hands-on experience, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and treatments

Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthetics as directed

Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals throughout procedures

Collect samples, take vitals, and perform diagnostic tests and imaging

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and clients

Communicate clearly with pet owners and teammates to support excellent care

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience preferred

High school diploma or GED (CVT certification a plus)

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day

Comfortable working around animals, cleaning agents, and medical equipment

MONDAYS, TUESDAYS and SATURDAYS a MUST
