Job description

Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician

Located in Omaha, Nebraska, Goodrich Veterinary Clinic is a full-service small-animal practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and the people who love them. We see dogs, cats, and pocket pets and offer a comprehensive range of services, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and more. With a focus on personalized medicine and building lasting relationships with clients, the team is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every patient receives the attentive care they deserve.

We're looking for a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is confident and proficient in surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Veterinary Technician Certification required - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical and dental procedures
  • Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines
  • Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records
  • Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment

Compensation $25-$30/hr, depending on experience.
