What types of hands-on experience can I expect during a veterinary assistant internship?

As a Veterinary Assistant Intern, you can expect to gain practical experience by supporting veterinarians and technicians with animal handling, basic care, and routine procedures such as administering medications, feeding, and cleaning enclosures.
