Job description

This Intern must be located within a 40-mile radius of the Blue River PetCare corporate office (1 S. Wacker Dr. Chicago, IL 60606) to work onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

The Integrations Intern assists the Specialist Team in managing the onboarding process for prospective veterinary hospitals onto the Blue River PetCare network. This temporary role is designed to provide hands‑on experience in client onboarding, relationship management, and project support. The Intern will work closely with the Specialists and Specialist Supervisor to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new clients.

Employment Type:

  • Temporary, Part-Time: This position is intended to be temporary, approximately 24 hours per week, with an expected duration of up to 4 months.
  • Supportive Role: The Integrations Intern will primarily serve in a supportive capacity, assisting team members with various tasks and projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Onboarding Support:

  • Assist in end-to-end onboarding process for new veterinary hospitals
  • Help process necessary information and documentation from prospective clients

Project Support:

  • Support the team in handling more complex projects or acquisitions
  • Collaborate with department members to analyze and process relevant data and documentation
  • Create documentation for projects
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of client onboarding activities
  • Learn about relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects
  • Work flexible hours as required by client/practice needs and corporate teammates
