Job description

The Veterinary Assistant will support the daily operations of a small animal clinic, assisting veterinarians and practice managers to deliver excellent animal care. This role involves direct interaction with animals and clients, ensuring smooth clinical procedures within standard clinic hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and comfort to animals during examinations and procedures
  • Collect laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
  • Safely restrain animals to assist veterinarians
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and clinical areas
