Pay: $10.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday - Sunday | 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for overnight weekend coverage in Provo. This position focuses on maintaining a secure environment through routine building lockdown procedures and scheduled foot patrols.
The officer will spend much of the shift moving throughout assigned areas, including stairwells and the parking garage. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
Overnight Patrol
  • Conduct scheduled foot patrols throughout assigned areas.
  • Check stairwells and designated building areas during patrol rounds.
  • Patrol the parking garage and monitor conditions throughout the shift.
  • Remain alert for unusual activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access.
  • Maintain a professional and visible security presence.
  • Follow established patrol routes and post instructions.

Building Security & Lockdown
  • Complete building lockdown procedures according to assigned instructions.
  • Check designated entrances and access points during closing procedures.
  • Confirm that assigned areas are secured before completing lockdown activities.
  • Report doors, gates, lighting, or other conditions that require attention.
  • Notify supervisors of security concerns or unusual conditions.

Communication & Reporting
  • Communicate security-related concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Follow company procedures when responding to observed issues.
  • Complete required patrol or activity documentation accurately.
  • Maintain professional conduct while interacting with residents, visitors, and authorized personnel.

Required Qualification
  • Active Guard Card required.
  • Ability to work scheduled overnight weekend shifts.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to remain alert while performing extended foot patrols.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established instructions.
