    DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position helps ensure that residents receive consistent, safe, and respectful nursing care in a supportive environment. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties: Health Assessment Support: Assist the RN by checking resident health status and ensuring accurate and confidential documentation Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments, verify pharmacy orders, and maintain accurate records Resident Observation: Observe residents for changes or concerns and report findings while documenting daily care activities Care Coordination: Work with the RN to help plan and adjust resident care and participate in nursing committees when needed Safety and Hygiene: Ensure residents are clean, safe, and well groomed while supporting infection control practices Specialized Care: Provide focused care for residents in specialty units such as Alzheimer care Interested in learning more. Work Hours and Additional Information: Full-time employment. 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week. Positions are available on the following shifts: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with a 30 minute lunch 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) with a 30 minute lunch 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) with a 30 minute lunch Rotating days and weekends.

Working every other weekend is required. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $68,914.00 (before taxes)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Necessary Special Requirements: This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practice Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. If you are within 60 days of completing a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license.

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
