Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner – Short Job Description
Remote /Hybrid after 1 month Training onsite
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive healthcare services focused on workplace injury management, employee health, and preventive care. The NP will conduct physical examinations, evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, perform fitness-for-duty and pre-employment exams, manage occupational health programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical assessment skills, experience in occupational medicine, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state
- National NP certification
- Minimum 1 years of Occupational Health or Primary Care experience (Occupational Medicine preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines, workers' compensation, and workplace health regulations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
