  • Support efficient vessel operations by maximizing space, balancing vessel weight, and helping ensure containers are accessible for loading and unloading by quay cranes.
  • Email completed BAPLIE files to the Central Planner and Cargo Operations for final approval or requested changes.

  • Communicate status updates to the Assistant Operations Manager regarding pre-planning progress.
  • Identify and communicate yard pile challenges, crane or yard conflicts, and other operational issues that may affect vessel planning.
  • Reconcile vessel load lists, including no-load containers and containers on hold, and communicate applicable lists to steamship lines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in supply chain, logistics, maritime, transportation, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
