Job description

Levels: Analyst · Lead Analyst · Senior Analyst
Initio Sphere Private Capital Ecosystemhttps://initiosphere.org

Compensation:
$50–$200/hour (based on Analyst Rating Score, credentials, and approval scope)

About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We serve private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, investors, and operators across private markets—integrating deal flow, analyst talent, investor relations support, training, and placement into a single platform.

Our mission is to create real opportunity, verified credibility, and immediate earning potential for serious private equity professionals. Once verified, analysts can begin earning income immediately by working on live private equity transactions across our network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Private Equity Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Private Equity Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, Private Equity Analysts:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to real private equity deal flow and paid analytical work

  • Support fund managers, independent sponsors, and operators on live buy-side and sell-side transactions

  • Build a verified deal track record and proprietary Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Private Equity Analyst · Lead Private Equity Analyst · Private Equity Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Private Equity Analyst
  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–200/hour

  • Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience

Lead Private Equity Analyst
  • Rating Score: 80–89

  • Pay: $100–150/hour

  • Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of private equity, M&A, or advanced financial modeling experience

Private Equity Analyst / Associate
  • Rating Score: 60–79

  • Pay: $50–100/hour

  • Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical modeling, valuation, and diligence skills

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Private Equity Analysts may be engaged in the following areas:

Private Equity Financial Modeling & Valuation
  • 3-statement operating models

  • LBO and returns analysis

  • Sources & uses modeling

  • Sensitivity and scenario analysis

  • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis

  • Football field valuation summaries

Deal Due Diligence & Investment Support
  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

  • Commercial, financial, and operational diligence

  • Management presentation and data room analysis

  • Risk assessment and downside protection analysis

  • Investment committee memo and deal summary support

Portfolio & Transaction Support
  • Add-on acquisition analysis

  • Exit scenario modeling

  • Hold vs. sell analysis

  • Performance tracking and KPI analysis

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for.
Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning
  1. Complete the Private Equity Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (PE Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)

  3. Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified analysts are actively promoted to private equity sponsors and investors across the ecosystem.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

  • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Private Equity Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Platform visibility to sponsors and funds

  • Approved work categories

  • Recommended hourly compensation levels

Compensation & Deal Economics
  • Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval level

  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Private Equity Analysts do not:

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.

Why Join Initio Sphere
  • Immediate earning potential once verified

  • Live private equity deal flow—not simulations

  • Platform-driven credibility and sponsor visibility

  • Long-term upside through deal exposure and network growth

  • A single ecosystem for career advancement, capital access, and opportunity
