Job description

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have strong computer skills, be a proficiency user of MS Word and Excel, have outstanding attention to detail, be an analytical thinker, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and be self-driven.
If candidate is a college student or graduate, those with STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or accounting focus will likely be best qualified.
The ideal candidate will additionally have an Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology and will have completed a Health Information Management clinical experience at an acute care hospital, be RHIT eligible, have knowledge of medical terminology, understand HIPAA, have the ability to navigate through state and federal law.
Job Duties:
The intern will focus on Health Information Management special projects such as updating the logo on all of our in-house forms, formatting OnBase, 3M, and Epic testing and training materials, and assisting with data conversion verification.
