Job description

In the full-time non-exempt position of Fundraising Operations Coordinator, part of our growing Development team, the Fundraising Operations Coordinator will be part of the team responsible for processing all the donations received from the generous supporters of World Central Kitchen. You will learn about many charitable giving channels while entering both donor and gift information into Salesforce NPSP. You may be communicating in writing or on the phone with WCK donors, helping answer inquiries and resolving donation issues. In this role, you will be processing gifts, making adjustments, and providing excellent customer service to the people and organizations supporting our mission.

What You Will Do:
  • Retrieve gift information from various external sources 
  • Review gift information and identify gifts needing special handling 
  • Using a variety of methods, clean, transform, and enter gifts into Salesforce 
  • Review gift entries for quality and accuracy, ensuring gift and donor Information accuracy
  • Reconcile files to sync to Finance platform
  • Contribute to various team projects as assigned 
  • Identify areas of improvements related to gift processing 
  • Meet gift entry deadlines and maintain confidentiality of gifts and donors
  • Provide prompt response to internal ad hoc requests for gift information
  • Contribute to various team projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) databases in a fundraising capacity.
  • Prior experience in a customer service capacity. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, timeliness, clarity, and detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to follow documented and verbal instructions and ask clarifying questions as appropriate.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and platforms quickly; familiarity with Asana, Salesforce, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and/or Apple applications.
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal - with the ability to engage donors, volunteers, and colleagues professionally.

Preferred candidates will also be multilingual.
