Order Verification Associate| 1st Shift

Location: Garden City, GA

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:55 AM until daily completion

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Position Summary

DarkHorse Express Solutions Inc. is expanding our logistics team and seeking a highly precise Inventory Control Specialist. This position is vital to preserving our facility's operational integrity and processing speed. We are looking for an analytical professional who takes a methodical approach to audit, trace, and validate incoming and outgoing freight streams.

Core Responsibilities
  • Cross-reference all outbound and inbound freight loads against manifests and transport bills to guarantee perfect accuracy.
  • Audit incoming materials for structural defects, count variances, or shipping damages.
  • Confirm that all merchandise features correct barcoding, structural packaging, and administrative tracking numbers.
  • Document and escalate inventory discrepancies or damaged stock to leadership immediately.
  • Verify products using an RF scanner gun.
  • Promote an organized, hazard-free warehouse footprint through active housekeeping.
  • Coordinate directly with dock hands and shift managers to optimize freight processing cycles.
  • Observe rigid corporate safety mandates to maintain a secure environment for the whole team.
Candidate Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education certificate.
  • Prior background functioning within an active distribution center or fulfillment hub is favored.
  • Familiarity operating RF scanning equipment is highly advantageous.
