About The Role & Team
As an AI analytics company, Amplitude partners with AI native startups to help them move faster from insight to product market fit and from product market fit to scale. Startups are a critical driver of our ecosystem and growth strategy. Our mission is to create new pathways for founders to discover Amplitude and adopt it early in their growth journey.
We are looking for a strategic, ecosystem-driven leader to run and evolve Amplitude's Global Startup and Venture Program. This person will shape how we engage founders, partner with VCs and incubators, and position Amplitude as the platform of choice for AI native startups worldwide. You will become an indispensable resource for founders navigating product market fit and growth, and a trusted partner across the AI startup ecosystem.
As a Global Startup and Venture Program Lead, you will:
  • Lead the Startup and Venture Strategy- Own and scale the Amplitude for Startups program while building strategic relationships with VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem partners to drive global adoption among AI native startups.
  • Drive Founder Engagement and Ecosystem Presence- Design and execute a founder-focused engagement strategy, including high-impact events and community initiatives, to position Amplitude as the trusted AI analytics partner for startups.
  • Represent Amplitude in Key Startup Markets - Travel regularly to attend and host events primarily in San Francisco and New York, with select international engagements, to strengthen founder relationships, deepen venture partnerships, and expand Amplitude's presence within priority ecosystems.
  • Own Activation and Growth- Optimize the startup web experience and activation journey, partnering with product and marketing teams to deliver a strong customer experience and support.
  • Drive Cross Functional Impact- Align startup initiatives with Product, Sales, and Marketing by building scalable program frameworks, defining success metrics, and ensuring insights from founders inform company strategy.
  • Event Strategy and Support - Build our event model for startups, working with team on topics, presentations and execution. Support on the ground when needed
  • Lead and Develop the Team - Manage and develop a Startup Marketing Specialist and contractor while building processes that enable efficient, scalable execution.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
  • 6+ years of experience in startups, venture capital, ecosystem partnerships, or growth programs
  • Established relationships within the Bay Area VC and startup community
  • Strong understanding of founder needs, product market fit challenges, and early-stage growth dynamics
  • Experience building and scaling strategic programs that drive measurable adoption
  • Demonstrated success in designing and running high-impact events and community initiatives
  • Deep interest in AI native ecosystems and emerging technology trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for founders and investors
  • Analytical mindset with experience defining program metrics and reporting on business impact
  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally and influencing across Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • A builder's mindset with the ability to move quickly, think strategically, and execute thoughtfully
  • Ability to travel ~10-15% of the time to Amplitude, partner, and industry events
