Job description

Certified Contractor Roles: Analyst · Lead · Senior
Initio Sphere Private Capital Ecosystemhttps://initiosphere.org

Compensation:
$50–$200/hour (based on Analyst Rating Score, credentials, and approval scope)

About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We support fund managers, investors, operators, and finance professionals across private markets by integrating deal flow, analyst talent, investor relations, networking, training, and placement into a single platform.

Our mission is to promote opportunity, credibility, and real earning potential for serious private capital professionals. Capital Operations Analysts do not wait months for placement—once verified, they can immediately begin earning income by supporting active transactions and ongoing capital operations across our network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Capital Operations Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification, verification, and approval process.

Once approved, Capital Operations Analysts:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to live deal flow and paid operational support work

  • Support investors, fund managers, and operators across transaction execution and post-close operations

  • Assist with portfolio monitoring, reporting, and capital processes

  • Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Capital Operations Analyst · Lead Capital Operations Analyst · Capital Operations Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Capital Operations Analyst
  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–$200/hour

  • Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity operations, fund operations, transaction services, or senior finance professionals with 5+ years of experience

Lead Capital Operations Analyst
  • Rating Score: 80–89

  • Pay: $100–$150/hour

  • Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in transaction execution support, portfolio analytics, or fund operations

Capital Operations Analyst / Associate
  • Rating Score: 60–79

  • Pay: $50–$100/hour

  • Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical skills and exposure to deal support, reporting, or operational finance

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Capital Operations Analysts are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

Transaction & Capital Operations Support
  • Support transaction execution workflows and closing processes

  • Assist with capital calls, distributions, and transaction tracking

  • Coordinate data room materials and execution checklists

  • Track deal milestones, approvals, and documentation

Financial Modeling & Performance Analysis
  • Build and maintain 3-statement and transaction models

  • Analyze cash flows, capital usage, and return metrics

  • Support post-close performance tracking and variance analysis

  • Run sensitivity and scenario analyses for operational decisions

Portfolio & Reporting Support
  • Assist with portfolio company monitoring and KPI tracking

  • Support quarterly and ad-hoc investor reporting

  • Contribute to valuation updates and portfolio review materials

  • Support investment memos, IC updates, and operational summaries

Due Diligence & Risk Support
  • Assist with Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

  • Support commercial and operational diligence workflows

  • Identify execution, integration, and operational risks

Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are explicitly approved.

How Analysts Start Earning
  1. Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (Capital Operations, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)

  3. Become verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live operational support engagements

No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified Capital Operations Analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training

  • Active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Platform visibility and operational engagement access

  • Approved work categories

  • Recommended hourly rates

Scores are dynamically updated based on execution quality, reliability, and client feedback.

Compensation & Deal Terms
  • Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Capital Operations Analysts do not:

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit or sell securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and operational support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.

Why Join Initio Sphere
  • Immediate earning potential once verified

  • Direct exposure to transaction and fund operations

  • Platform-driven credibility and analyst promotion

  • Long-term upside through repeat operational engagements and network growth

  • A single ecosystem for capital operations, career development, and opportunity
