Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate – AmLaw 100 Firm
Location: Seattle, WA
Full-Time

Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Midlevel Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) Associate to join its Seattle office.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of ECVC experience advising innovative companies and investors across the company lifecycle, including formation, venture financings, and mergers and acquisitions. The practice represents clients ranging from early-stage startups to global technology leaders and venture capital funds.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team advising high-growth companies and investors in sophisticated transactional matters within the technology and venture ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of ECVC experience, preferably at a comparable law firm
  • Experience with company formation, venture capital financings, and M&A transactions
  • Strong academic credentials and references
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills (Excel proficiency preferred)
  • Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range is $235,000–$365,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Discretionary bonuses may also be awarded.
