Job description

Vendor Management Analyst

Location: Temple Terrace, FL / Tulsa, OK or anywhere in USA (Hybrid - every Tuesday in office)

Duration: 30 months

Vendor Management Center (VMC): Responsible for all administrative and audit related functions for Third Party Vendors servicing client domestic Global Network Operations team.

Manages workload distribution, job due dates and change controls as well as audit functions related to both work completed and invoicing to ensure both timely and accurate delivery and billing of work by client vendor partners.

General Duties โ€“ Vendor Management Center Duties many include but are not limited to the follow:

  • Ensuring accurate work load distribution and on-time process and completion by client vendor partners.
  • Develop action and remediation plans with Vendors to address any backlogged or past due work or projects to ensure their timely completion.
  • Works with internal parties and vendors to validate and correct work request descriptions and details.
  • Ensure appropriate stakeholders are aware of and approve changes requested by Vendors.
  • Issues regular audit requests on completed vendor work to ensure compliance with client specifications and local codes.
  • Collects and reviews audit forms and performance reporting metrics for vendors at market and national levels to build Vendor Score Card reports.
  • Provides score card results to management for further analysis and planning.
  • Historically track all Vendor performance data at market, region and national levels.
  • Identify improvement opportunities based on historical trending analysis.
  • Review vendor invoice requests for accuracy based on jobs assigned, completed and job unit pricing.
  • Address any inaccuracies with Vendor and Stakeholder parties (Client Engineering, Field Operations, etc.)
  • Ensure approved invoices are paid to vendors in a timely fashion by responsible parties.
  • Review performance analytics, vendor and Field Operations feed to identify potential contract improvements and other areas of opportunities.

Basic Qualifications โ€“ Vendor Management Center:

  • Tests โ€“ Results obtained in interviews and tests for this position must meet minimum requirements established by the company, in accordance with company policy.
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of telecommunication equipment, processes and systems as well as department policies and procedures.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must present a cordial and professional image of company when working with various partners.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of MS Office or similar software to build and maintain spreadsheets, presentations and other required documents.
  • This includes google suite of software
  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized and able to learn on your own.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Requires additional instructions and some guidance on new or more complex assignments.
  • Provides direction and guidance to less experienced team mates.
  • Performs complex administrative and analytical duties as needed.
  • Follows standard procedure and guidelines. Uses individual expertise to solve more complex problems.
  • Associate degree in related field (project management, telecommunications, electronics e.g.) and 3 to 6 years of job related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Desktop computer skills are essential.
  • May be required to work day, evening, night and weekend shifts as well as overtime and holidays as required.
