What you get to do:
As a Vendor, you'll deliver exceptional guest service while providing guests with product information and upselling when possible. Your "bottom line" will be to ensure guests have a shopping experience that meets and exceeds their expectations. You will:
  • Greet and interact with guests
  • Approach guests to actively sell product in stadiums before shows and from carts stationed around the park
  • Properly display product being vended, including wearing items such as hats and necklaces
  • Actively call out to crowds to positively attract attention to enhance sales
  • Set up cart and product displays in accordance with department plans and demonstrate product to encourage sales
  • Complete transactions without the use of a register
  • Minimize losses due to damage or theft
  • Keep all assigned areas clean
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
  • At least 18 years old (TABC requirement)
  • Must be able to repetitively climb stadium steps while carrying vending trays
  • Must be able to provide exceptional guest service with a willingness to initiate sales interaction
  • Must be able to handle register well
  • Must be able to complete and pass all training for Merchandise department
  • Must be able to walk long distances
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to push/pull cart up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and turn with complete flexibility
  • Must be comfortable working around water and animals
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Must be comfortable with completing all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to walk and stand extensively
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions
  • Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
