What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Lead Data Analyst – Vendor Success within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Corpay line of business on the Data & Analytics team and is located in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will lead vendor master data analysis, data quality initiatives, reporting, and insights that support vendor matching, card retention, and revenue-generating initiatives. This role requires someone who can operate as a senior individual contributor, partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, and translate complex operational needs into actionable data solutions.

The Lead Data Analyst will play a key role in improving vendor data integrity, identifying trends and gaps, developing reporting solutions, and helping drive process improvements across Vendor Success, Operations, Implementation, Sales, and Engineering. This is a critical role that impacts revenue, vendor engagement, and overall program performance.

You will report directly to the Vendor Success Manager and regularly collaborate with Operations, Implementation, Engineering, Sales, and Data & Analytics teams.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Leading the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of master vendor data
  • Analyzing vendor records to identify duplicates, gaps, trends, and data quality issues
  • Matching, merging, and validating vendor records to support clean and accurate data
  • Developing and maintaining recurring reports, dashboards, and insights related to vendor data, card retention, and operational performance
  • Supporting and helping lead card retention initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder partnership
  • Translating business and operational needs into clear technical requirements for Engineering, Data, and Operations teams
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and better data governance
  • Presenting findings, trends, and recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Supporting special projects and strategic initiatives tied to revenue growth, vendor success, and operational efficiency
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for vendor data analysis, reporting, and process improvement efforts
Qualifications & Skills

Must-Haves

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, vendor data management, business analysis, or a related role
  • Experience working with vendor data, payment processing, vendor enrollment, supplier management, or B2B payments
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data validation, lookups, pivot tables, formulas, and large data set analysis
  • Experience creating reports, identifying trends, and presenting data-driven recommendations
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and lead initiatives with minimal supervision

Preferred

  • Experience with SQL, Power Automate, Power BI, Tableau, or other data/reporting tools
  • Experience supporting revenue, retention, vendor enrollment, or operational improvement initiatives
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with data quality, data governance, or master data management processes
  • Ability to identify automation opportunities and improve manual processes
  • Prior experience in FinTech, payments, corporate payments, AP automation, or vendor/supplier data environments
