The Role
  • Direct and lead team of highly technical individual contributors who manage the design, development and implementation of IP & Voice engineering projects and initiatives
  • Manage team responsible for creating MOPs & configurations, and for testing & turning up equipment for IP & Voice deployments
  • Manage and assure adherence to budgets, project schedules, work plans and performance requirements
  • Establish, implement, and maintain administrative and technical procedures to ensure projects are completed in an efficient and cost effective manner within allocated budget and accounting guidelines
  • Exercise financial controls within company financial systems, including review/approval of projects, purchase requisitions, and oversight of approved contractors
  • Collaborate with Architecture & Engineering and IP & Voice Ops on architectural and configuration changes and improvements
  • Collaborate with our vendors on new platforms and technologies
  • Involved in developing and improving Lumen polices in design, planning and development of new advanced data, cloud, and voice technologies
  • Manage and drive network transformation
  • Manage multiple large complex projects and initiatives that require cross-organizational coordination to achieve organizational goals
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Facilitate, delegate, and lead cross-functional teaming to drive transformational change across multiple disciplines and functional organizations to improve processes, workflows and streamlining of functions
  • Motivate and cultivates employee development through empowerment, driving a "culture of learning", and actively engaging in employee's development opportunities
  • Develop and communicate vision to drive improved employee engagement and organizational results
  • Other duties as assigned
Location and Schedule

This is a full time work from home position. The typical schedule is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor key facets of group performance against KPIs
  • Distribute incoming work requests among team to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Provide supplemental operational support on escalated needs, such as driving problem issues with stakeholders and layers of management
  • Representing functional teams to internal and external customers on status of current work
  • Ensure incoming deployment projects meet A&E standards and guidelines

  • Strong knowledge of Lumen's IP networks including architecture, platforms, systems, and implementation processes
  • Provide routine directional guidance and performance feedback collectively and individually

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
